I specialise in the traditional art of pressing flowers, ensuring each petal and leaf retains its beauty. From your initial enquiry to the moment you receive your completed artwork, I advise on every step of the way, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience.
Step 1: Reserve your press
Contact me with your wedding or occasion details to reserve a space for your flowers. I’ll send you all relevant information regarding dates, venue, florist, prices, and frame sizes.
Step 2: Secure your booking
With just a £50 deposit, your flowers are officially booked into the preservation schedule. We'll confirm all details and prepare for their arrival.
Step 3: The pressing process
Within 2 days of your wedding, the flowers will need to be delivered to myself. Alternatively I can collect for a calculated fee depending on mileage. If posting I recommend Royal Mail next day, please ensure you use a strong cardboard box with packing around the blooms and the stems wrapped in wet paper.
I will then begin the process of pressing your flowers. Some are pressed whole and others completely deconstructed to achieve the best results. This delicate process typically takes 5–6 weeks to ensure optimal preservation.
Step 4: Design and framing
Once your flowers are fully dried and preserved, I will create a mock-up for your approval. You'll choose your preferred frame styles and sizes, along with paper or glass options.
Step 5: Final creation
When you are completely happy with the design, your artwork will be carefully glued, framed, and sealed, ready for you to cherish forever.
